Unlike screen printing, where intricate details thrive, embroidery encounters limitations due to the size of the needle and thread. Should your design feature intricate details, distressing, or tiny elements, slight adjustments may be necessary to ensure optimal embroidery quality. Making these adjustments beforehand guarantees your image is primed for embroidery, delivering top-notch results.
- Preferred File Format
Vector files (ai, eps, pdf) with converted fonts are preferred as they offer the highest quality embroidery results. Vector graphics provide precise lines and shapes, ensuring accuracy in the digitizing process.
- Acceptable File Format:
Raster files (jpg, tif, gif, png, eps) are also acceptable, but they should have a minimum resolution of 150dpi at the final image size. However, raster files are composed of pixels, which may result in less precise embroidery compared to vector files.
- Colors
We work with a number of distributors who offer a variety a colors options that can meet your needs.
If specific colors are needed for your order, we can order and use them for an additional custom color fee
- Letter Size
Maintain a minimum size of .25" for legibility and quality embroidery.
- COMPLEXITY
Complex designs may require additional time and expertise for digitizing, impacting project timelines and costs.
- placement
Determine the desired placement of the embroidery on the garment to ensure the design fits appropriately.
- Gradients
Although complex gradients are possible in embroidery, remember that stitches don't blend like digital screens, resulting in slight variations from digital renderings.
